ABOUT THE ARTIST
Detroit based artist and designer, Daniel Tzu Poré has for the past twenty years honing his craft as an art director, graphic designer, story teller and and hair stylist. As a serviceman in the U.S. Army, Poré served for six years as a aviation mechanic and has practiced as an interdisciplinary media colorist and sculptor on both domestic and foreign soil.

With nearly three decades of experience, Poré reemerges with new work that consecrates the perfect union of multi-disciplinary artistry and a richly informed international skillset. Poré’s continued evolution as a creative has allowed him to explore a range of mediums and processes that he uses to confront the challenge of effecting depth within two dimensional art. Using color and texture to tell stories his work dares the limitations of perceived depth in a 2d environment.
